My Top Workouts

Since I’ve been on a health and fitness kick lately I thought I would share some of my go to’s at the gym.

Depending on if I’m feeling wild I either start my workout off doing a five minute jog on the treadmill or doing a mile, sometimes two.

Then I stretch which is where my new found love for yoga comes in to play and I get to look like a fool for a few minutes.

Typically, I start with abs to activate my core. I usually pair up body parts on certain days such as arms and abs, back and triceps, legs and glutes, etc. I do anywhere from 3-5 exercises doing 10-15 reps for 2-4 sets.

So what are some go to workouts? For legs I love doing different types of squats and lunges variations. I typically go to the squat rack to take use of weights. I’ve gotten into enjoying arm day and working them out a lot more than anything else so I’m always experimenting with new things: bicep curls, tricep extensions, etc.
