“I Trust You In The Journey.”

God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out,
his merciful love couldn’t have dried up.
They’re created new every morning.
    How great your faithfulness!
I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over).
    He’s all I’ve got left.

God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits,
to the woman who diligently seeks.
It’s a good thing to quietly hope,
quietly hope for help from God.
It’s a good thing when you’re young
to stick it out through the hard times. When life is heavy and hard to take,

go off by yourself. Enter the silence.
Bow in prayer. Don’t ask questions:
Wait for hope to appear.
Don’t run from trouble. Take it full-face.
The “worst” is never the worst.

Trust seems to be the thing we as humans struggle with the most. Why? Because we let each other down. We turn our backs on each other. So when it comes to trusting God sometimes we want to, full heartedly, but yet we’re still unsure. It should be easy to trust someone who’s never abandoned you. Yet, the one person who we need the most and who wants us…. we keep at a distance. Maybe without fully knowing it. I’ve been speaking

“I trust you in the journey”

over my life recently, because sometimes even I need a little convincing. I may need to speak it a hundred times until it sticks, until it becomes real and in engraved, not going anywhere. It’s a part of sacrificing my flesh… a daily thing. The biggest thing to know when it comes to trusting God- with your plans, your life, your dreams is knowing that he proves himself. Over and over and over again he proves himself. Scripture is there to remind us when we’re unsure. He’s proved himself before in your life and if you’ll let him he’ll do it again.
