“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.'” – Eleanor Roosevelt
I’ve learned something about myself this year. I’ve wondered but never put too much thought into the what if or when. How will I respond to the things I can’t control in life. Will I be able to withstand it. The answer is yes. I’m sure you’ve all heard “The Lord will not give you more than you can handle.” It may seem like it’s too much, but I believe that’s because the Father tests us. We have to rely on him. He wants to know that we will have hope, faith, and trust in him through all situations. I realized just within the past few months that I have strength inside of me that I didn’t know I had. That goes for each of us. You may look at a situation and see it as impossible to come back from, but thats when the fighter in you breaks out. You have mental strength you didn’t think possible. You have spiritual strength you didn’t know was inside of you. You have physical strength to move things. You have the strength to make darkness tremble. You have the strength to declare over your life— freedom, power, and abundance. Strength is yours, claim it. Strength isn’t determined by an outcome. It’s there all along from the beginning. We know God knows the outcome of our life. He knows everyday. He knows everything we will face and lose. Therefore, he births the strength we need to make it through all of those things in life the very moment he thinks us into existence. People need your strength to power through in their own life. Don’t keep it inside. Spread it! Knock down walls. Break through barriers. Empower others. You are not weak. Not in size and not in life. You are everything you need and need to be. You have the weapon to fight back in life. Your tears need to be shed. Your emotions need to be let out. You have to get past the initial reaction and initial feeling to release your inner fight.
