Real, Raw, Messy

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” Psalm 139:14-16

The parts you hate, he loves. The parts of yourself you don’t want anyone else to see, he does and loves them. Understand your rawness is welcomed with him. He wants all the impurities and the pureness form of who you are. He wants you to feel like you can be you all the time, because there is nothing wrong with that. Be more of you! Less of everyone else, less of the way society wants, and more of you. Be all the crazy you think you are. Just walk in who you are, own it. Your messy, imperfect, but completely who you’re suppose to be self. Don’t change, don’t alter. Own it girl! Be the girl you are when you wake up in the mornings and your hair is a mess, be that raw and messy before God. People should learn to love that, not a covered up version.
