My First Time Going Rock Climbing

My First. My First Time Going Rock Climbing. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ Today was my first experience of going to a rock climbing facility. I didn’t know what exactly to expect. I haven’t quite decided if I’m terrified of heights or if it’s just certain levels that scare me. I’m okay on rides, roller coasters, etc. I think my problem comes in to play when I’m standing on something high above the ground and can see the bottom lol. There were three different sections at the place we went toโ€” a supposed “kiddie” area (my fav), a place they called the “boulder room”, and the room with super tall walls (not so sure it’s name). The kiddie room, let me just clarify…. not so kiddie, I still found my self not being able to get up every wall. This area was seriously awesome. There were giant block like structures designed like buildings that you climbed up and they got higher as they went around. That was tricky. I also would like to state I made it up them, my second time, and Tanner didn’t. Just throwing that out there. In the boulder room, Tanner’s favorite area, you weren’t connected to a rope. You climbed freely and fell at your own risk. It was fun as well but my strength was not as admirable as others. Last, the big room! I almost made it up the tall walls, but sadly did not succeed. Our group had a blast and left with battle wounds. I on the other hand managed to get a knot and bruise, not from rock climbing, but by climbing into the car…. same thing right? I definitely recommend going somewhere like we did today. It was a blast and I for sure want to go back! ๐Ÿ™‚
